A company that is one page long, and says so.
YYY Software Ltd was incorporated in England and Wales on 1 January 2026. That date is the only piece of company history we have, and it is on the public register, so it is the only piece we will tell you.
Everything else on this page is a statement of what we do and what we intend, in the present and future tense, because that is all a young company honestly has.
A product company, not a services vendor.
We build our own consumer applications for iOS and Android. We do not take client briefs, we do not staff projects, and we do not sell development hours. If you have found us while looking for an app development agency, we are not that, and we would rather say so on the first screen than take the meeting.
Method, described plainly.
An idea has to survive one sentence
Before anything is drawn, an idea is written as a single sentence that a person outside the company would understand without a preamble. If the sentence needs a second one to make sense, the idea goes back.
Design and engineering are the same conversation
The same small team draws the screens and writes the code, so a decision made in a sketch is not renegotiated in a ticket. The practical effect is that the thing that ships is the thing that was drawn.
The first build is deliberately narrow
A prototype exists to be carried around for a week of ordinary days. It is judged on whether it gets used when nobody is watching, not on whether it demonstrates well.
Abandoning is part of the method
Most ideas will not reach a store, and we will say when one is dropped rather than leave it implied. A list of abandoned work is more informative than a roadmap, and we can publish it truthfully.
Data stays on the device by default
Where a feature genuinely needs a server, the app will say so at the point where the data leaves the phone, in the interface, and the privacy notice will describe it in the same words.
The absences, listed on purpose.
A company incorporated in January 2026 has no trading record, and a site that implies one is lying by decoration. So, in plain terms:
No published apps yet
We have nothing in the App Store or on Google Play at the time of writing. When that changes, the listing will appear here with a date and a version number, and this paragraph will be rewritten rather than quietly deleted.
No certifications
We do not hold ISO 27001 certification, a SOC 2 report or Cyber Essentials certification, and we will not represent otherwise. If we obtain any of them, the certificate number and the certifying body will be published on this page.
No clients, no case studies, no testimonials
There are none, so there is no section for them. You will not find a wall of logos on this site, and if you ever do, it will be because the logos are real and the companies have agreed to appear.
No claims about size or experience
We do not publish a headcount, an office count, or a total of years of experience. None of those numbers would tell you anything you could check.
Data protection registration
Whether a company must pay the ICO data protection fee depends on the processing it actually carries out. Our position is being confirmed, and if a registration is required the reference will be published here and in the privacy notice. [TO CONFIRM: ICO data protection fee registration status and reference number]
No data protection officer
We have not appointed a statutory Data Protection Officer, and we do not currently meet the conditions in Article 37 of the UK GDPR that would require one. Data protection enquiries go to the contact address below and are handled by the company.
YYY, three letters, one word.
There are other companies on the register with similar names, and there are unrelated software firms in the United States trading under names built from the same letters. We are none of them. Our name is written as one word, YYY, and never shortened, so the company number below is the safest way to be sure which company you are looking at.
The company, as filed.

Registered office is a filing address for statutory correspondence. It is not a shop, a studio you can visit, or a place to send hardware.
If something here is unclear, ask and we will answer in writing.
Questions about the company, the work, or anything on this page go to the same address as everything else.
Email reaches a person, not a ticket queue. We aim to reply within three working days.
